Maurice “Moe” Hobson Jr, a native of Houston, Texas and a graduate of The Jack Yates Senior High School. He is an alumnus of West Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He is happily married to his lovely wife, Cuca Hobson and proud father to Margarita, Maurice III and McKenzie. Pooh-Paw to granddaughter Kai.
Moe is currently a Human Resource Training Specialist at Harris County Juvenile Probation Department. He has had worked in many areas of the department such as; Education Services, Personnel, Court Service and Accreditation and Quality Assurance. He also has 20 + years of experience as a coach, a community servant, radio personality, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and PTO President. Moe is a frequent speaker on juvenile justice topics such as; Staff Development, Team Building, Behavior Management, Crisis Response Intervention, Officer Safety, Social Media Awareness, LGBTQ+, Generational Differences and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Moe strongly believes when you learn, get excited about it! Then teach it with passion and enthusiasm.
